What this site is
This is a privately run guide, not an official government or tourism-board website. We collect and explain useful information about visiting and understanding Denmark: its culture, food, history, major sights, festivals and the practical details of travelling there from this part of the world. Where we describe attractions, customs or history, we aim for accuracy and plain English.
How we handle facts
We try to separate the timeless from the time-sensitive. Historical facts, geography and well-established cultural information are presented directly. For things that change, such as prices, exchange rates, visa rules, opening hours and schedules, we deliberately avoid quoting figures that would quickly go stale, and we point you to the official source to confirm. Where a claim is general background rather than a checked figure, we say so.
