Where to turn for official help: Danish missions abroad, foreign embassies in Denmark, and what an embassy can and can't do for you.
If you're a Malaysian travelling to Denmark
For visas, entry rules and consular questions before you travel, your first stop is the Royal Danish Embassy accredited to Malaysia and the official Danish government channels. While in Denmark, if you lose your passport or need consular assistance, contact the Embassy of Malaysia responsible for Denmark. We don't publish addresses or phone numbers here because they change, so always use the official directories below to get current details.

What an embassy can and can't do
An embassy can
- Issue emergency travel documents if your passport is lost or stolen
- Provide a list of local lawyers, doctors or translators
- Contact family on your behalf in an emergency
- Offer guidance if you're a victim of crime or in hospital
- Provide information on local laws and consular services
An embassy cannot
- Pay your bills, fines, or travel costs
- Get you out of prison or override local law
- Provide medical treatment or do a travel agent's job
- Guarantee a visa or speed up immigration decisions
- Investigate crimes (that's the local police)
We intentionally link to official directories rather than list addresses, because embassy contact details, opening hours and accreditation change. Always confirm current details directly with the relevant ministry or mission.
